Metrolosys Goes Mainstream

August 1, 2006 (Chino, CA) — Creative Products Co. has announced the restructuring of pricing levels for Metrolosys software and related services.  Metrolosys makes it easy to create GD&T inspection reports using your CNC milling machine and a touch probe.

For several years the software relied on prices aimed at the highest-level users and the most demanding applications.  Now that the software and the inspection process has matured, the time has come to make this process available to everyone.

The new pricing scheme separates all software updates and support services from the cost of the software.  Those users requiring little or no support will pay less than those requiring more extensive support from their Metrolosys reseller.  Contact your Metrolosys reseller for more information.

Metrolosys Inspection Software Under New Management of Creative Products Company

Aims-enabled Inspection Software Converts Machine Tools into Coordinate Measuring Machines

Chino, California – May 8, 2006 – Creative Products Company announced today it will manage the sales, marketing, and product development of the Metrolosys inspection software product line. Metrolosys v9.5 (www.metrolosys.com) is the leading inspection software for machine tool probing that transforms any machine tool into a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Creative Products Company specializes in manufacturing software development, and offers CNC machining and high-end laser engraving services. Creative Products Company is located at 5670 Schaefer Avenue, Suite J, Chino, CA 91710. The company can be reached at (909) 591-3638 or via email: info@creativeproco.com.

Creative Products Company will continue to support the integration of the AIMS (Advanced Integrated Mathematical System) Metrology Kernel within the Metrolosys inspection software. Jointly developed by The Boeing Company and Metronor Group, AIMS is a software solution developed to actualize paperless manufacturing and enable seamless, bi-directional sharing of CAD geometry, inspection plans, and measurement data between industrial hardware and software platforms.

Metrolosys allows manufacturers to use any probe-ready CNC milling machine in the same way they would utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). This powerful CAD-based programming and reporting system for machined parts supports ISO 17025, ASME B5.54, and NIST traceability standards. Metrolosys provides independent volumetric error mapping, advanced high-speed probing methods, and automatically generates Inspection G-code.

Metrolosys 9.5 ushered in a new era for Lean Manufacturing by reducing machine-tool downtime up to 75%. A user can program a CNC machine using a touch probe to measure a part, and can drastically reduce the process to less than 10 keystrokes when creating the part inspection G-code probing program. Metrolosys enables the machine tool to perform the inspection without tearing down the job for first article inspection or any other inspection requirement. After machining a part, it is already setup for in-place inspection, thus introducing a major contribution to the Lean Manufacturing process. CMM-type alignments of the machine tool to the machined part and its corresponding 3D CAD model are easily accomplished using Metrolosys.

Brittany joined the working world more than two years ago, starting in the food service industry, and has continued to maintain her status as a full-time student at Cal State University at Fullerton, CA.  Her long-term standing as a musician and her love for tattoos (hers is a stylized zodiac sun) provides an immediate advantage to Brittany as she forges new relationships with tool lovers and recording artists in the local area.

New Laser Engraving Service - tattoolz

April 6, 2006 (Chino, CA) — A new Laser Engraving service has been announced by Creative Products Co. tattoolz™, combines the passion for tattoos and for tools by providing tattoos for your tools.  The laser engraving process leaves a dark, semi-permanent mark on the metal where the laser beam touches it.

A standard library of tats is available to choose from, or custom graphics can be created.  The entire library can be seen on the company web-site at www.creativeproco.com.  Two standard sizes are available.  Small, which can be up to 1/2" by 1" and Large, which can be up to 1" by 2" in size.  All tattoolz™ are one color only, black.

The tool owners are required to deliver their tools to Creative Products Co. for processing.  This additional expense will be minimized or eliminated by operating the service in the local area and licensing the process and graphics library to laser operators in other areas.  The service will also be available through various retail stores and independent tool vendors (look for an M or an S on the truck).
