What Tolerances are Supported?

Metrolosys is constantly improving and now supports just about any tolerance that you're likely to encounter in your various projects.

Virtually all of the above GD&T symbols and their respective tolerances are supported, as well as the Distance between points or parallel features, the Angle between lines or planes, and the Diameter or Radius of circular features.

Metrolosys Report Formats

There are currently four different report formats available to present the information collected during the inspection process. Two HTML formats create reports that are web-ready and aesthetically pleasing, while two text formats give you a no-frills option and the ability to transfer the data to other software.

The most popular report format is called the Html Short Report. The Short Report consolidates all information about each measurement on a single report line. This method allows the most information per page to be displayed.

The Html Long Report contains more information (mostly nominal) than the short report and presents the information on several report lines.

The Text Report looks like the Html Long Report without all of the colors and fancy fonts. This is the historical format that existed before the html reports.

The CSV Report (which stands for Comma Separated Values) is a generic ascii format that is commonly used to move the inspection information from Metrolosys into another software package, for example, an SPC software program or a spreadsheet program.
